The Beautification Committee improves quality of life in Fishtown by supporting public art, hosting clean-ups, and promoting trees and green spaces. We typically meet on the fourth Thursdays of each month at 6:30pm at the Rose Garden or online. Please check the Calendar or our Facebook to confirm meeting location.
Public Art One of the best things about Fishtown is our public art! We are working to increase art coverage on our walls and public spaces. Come to a committee meeting to hear the latest on developing projects and how you can help!
Street Tree Plantings One of our goals is to increase tree coverage in Fishtown. We encourage residents to apply for FREE street trees with Philly Tree People, the local tree tender group that has planted over 1,000 trees in 19125 and 19134 since 2007. Applications are due in May and November of each year, and approved trees will get planted by volunteers six months later. Apply for a free street tree here!Email[email protected]for more information.
Cleanups We host neighborhood cleanups, with free materials available at the Fishtown Rec Center! To hear about the next cleanup, join our mailing list and follow us on social media on twitter and instagram!
